Welcome To My Site!
Well, for starters, my name is Lindsey Stevens. I have a two
year old pomeranian named Trixie. She is my inspiration! Since the day we brought her home she has been nothing but
a pure bundle of joy. I can not tell you how many photo albums I have of this little girl! So needless to say
she's a spoiled one :) OK, enough of a mother's bragging. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, our family
tradition was to visit all the local craft fairs and festivals. I loved the atmosphere, and all the hand-made crafts
that people put their heart and souls into. Things you can't find at the Wal-Mart up the road! I always knew I wanted to one
day have a craft as great as theirs, an art that I can set up and sell along with them. As fate had it my fiance's father,
Keith, hand makes leather goods that he sells world wide. Hmm, maybe this is my nitch? We soon packed up and moved to
a suburb of Tampa, Florida. Big move! My fiance, Eric, is taking on the trade and taking it by storm! The pair
are doing great. Now, where do I fit in? I started to make wallets and keychain's and little things here and there. I
learned quick, but I wanted to learn how to craft something I was very interested in. Well you already know of my love
for Trixie, so I put two and two together and learned how to make quality, fashionable dog collars and leashes. I am
soon going to expand my business with dog crate covers, dog beds, and cat products. Don't worry, I'll get my butt in gear
and start doing them soon so you'll have more of a selection of quality pet products to pamper your little ones (or big ones!)
soon! So now I need a name for the business. When we first moved down Keith re-named Trixie.. Miss Dixie! Since she was a
southern dog now he felt the name suited her very well. I thought it was an adorable name and since I owe the start of my
business to Keith and all his knowledge, I named it none other than Miss Dixie Designs! All of my products are custom made
with the highest quality of nylon/ribbon and hardware available. I want to thank all the visitors to my site and for
your support for the hand-crafters of America. Thank you again, and well, that is me.. in a nutshell! :)
